What is HIFT

At its' core, High Intensity Functional Training (HIFT) is a group fitness class that requires participants to perform a variety of functional movements (meaning they help you move better in real life) at a level of intensity that is relative for each individual. This means that an elite athlete will essentially get the same workout as someone who has never been active as they will both perform the movements at the skill level and intensity that is fitting for them. HIFT classes are performed under the instruction of a coach who teaches the skills and helps each individual establish a level of intensity that benefits them.

Who is HIFT for?

Literally everyone. From new moms seeking a safe way to become active to seniors looking to maintain independence; experienced top-level athletes and those battling chronic illness, HIFT is adaptable and beneficial for every member of the community.
