Humble Yoga
Yoga literally means “union” in reference to the integration of mind and body during yoga practice. There are several different styles of yoga, each serving the ultimate purpose of restoring physical and mental wellness. Classes involve movement through a collection of postures and movement patterns led by an instructor who may offer variances to increase or decrease the level of difficulty. A great deal of awareness is also brought to the breath in Yoga, which enhances the mind-body connection.
Who is Yoga For?
A great deal of research has shown that Yoga can be beneficial in reducing blood pressure, blood sugar in diabetics, insomnia, stress, anxiety and depression. There’s also substantial evidence that it improves balance, strength, physical capacity in seniors, and cognitive performance. This makes Yoga is an excellent form of exercise for anyone looking to enhance their health and wellbeing.
